Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Beach House Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Assorted Nuts (optional)

Directions

STEP 1

Combine Milk, Cream, and Beach House Honey over a saucepan at medium heat. Stir until fully combined.

TIP: When adding Beach House Honey, make sure to warm it up in a pot of hot water or underneath a faucet. Heating our honey in the microwave will damage the nutrients and antibacterial properties.

STEP 2

Once the mixture is heated, add Cocoa Powder and Vanilla. Whisk together for 2 minutes. Once mixed, take off the stove and let cool for 10-15 min.

ADD IN SOME NUTS (OPTIONAL)

Mix in nuts, chocolate chips, or mashed-up candy bars. Mix in well with cooled-down mixture.

STEP 3

Once mixture is cooled, chill in fridge overnight or until completely chilled.

STEP 4

Pour chilled mixture in Ice Cream Maker and churn for 20-40 min until soft-serve consistency. Place mixture in fridge to hard freeze or serve as is.

The Story

Ice cream has been around for centuries, providing sweet, creamy goodness to our tastebuds across the world. However, over time, Ice cream has slowly become “less” of what it used to be, no longer filled with nutrients and healthy benefits. Ice cream was originally flavored with Honey but was replaced by sugar due to being easier to produce and at lower values.

This recipe brings back what made ice cream health and delicious to the taste.
