Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Beach House Honey
  • 1 Cup Assorted Nuts (optional)

Directions

STEP 1

Combine Beach House Honey, Whipping Cream, and Half+Half in a Large bowl until the mixture is completely stirred (stir for 5-7 minutes until semi-thick in consistency.)

TIP: When adding Beach House Honey, make sure to warm it up in a pot of hot water or underneath a faucet. Heating our honey in the microwave will damage the nutrients and antibacterial properties.

ADD IN SOME NUTS (OPTIONAL)

Mix in nuts, chocolate chips, or mashed-up candy bars. Mix in well with cooled-down mixture.

STEP 2

Start the Ice Cream maker and pour in finished mixture. Churn for 20-40 min until Ice Cream maker slows down or until ice cream is at a soft-serve consistency. Scoop out and immediately place in freezer to harden ice cream.

The Story

Ice cream has been around for centuries, providing sweet, creamy goodness to our tastebuds across the world. However, over time, Ice cream has slowly become “less” of what it used to be, no longer filled with nutrients and healthy benefits. Ice cream was originally flavored with Honey but was replaced by sugar due to being easier to produce and at lower values.

This recipe brings back what made ice cream health and delicious to the taste.
